About Product

It consisted of two components:

  • SecurID® Card: A credit card-sized device with an LCD screen that displayed one-time passcodes.
  • SecurID® Token: A small, keychain-sized device that generated the one-time passcodes displayed on the card.

How it Worked

  1. During login, the user would be prompted to enter their username and password.
  2. The user would then press a button on the SecurID® Token, generating a unique passcode on the LCD screen of the SecurID® Card.
  3. The user would enter the displayed passcode along with their username and password to complete the login process.

This two-factor authentication system added an extra layer of security by requiring not only a username and password but also a unique, one-time passcode that changed frequently.

  • Enhanced login security by adding two-factor authentication.
  • Compact and portable design for easy carrying.
  • One-time passcodes prevented unauthorized access even if a password was compromised.
